In the Spotlight

Well it was my turn to chose the challenge over at Creative Inspirations this week and I have chosen a technique for a change.  It is called In the Spotlight, something I did quite a while ago and love how simple yet effective it is.

All you have to do is stamp your image twice, take a section of it, colour it in and place it back on top of your main image.

Here is my card,  I used this gorgeous image from Mo's Digital Pencil and coloured it with copics, the papers are Lili of the Valley, I love all their paper pads. Also used Spellbinder Card Creator curves for the border.

Hope you have fun with this one x

Anything Goes

Hi there, Wednesday again and a new challenge at Creative Inspirations  this week our fabulous sponsor is Bugaboo, the winner gets to chose 7 images, how good is that.

This week is Anything Goes which is even better with the added option of the following sketch, these make life so much easier.

I have used Skating Along and coloured her with promarkers, the papers are from a gorgeous American Craft pad I picked up in TK Maxx the other day.

Thanks for looking, hope to see your creations soon x

I'm late, I'm late

with my DT post for Creative Inspirations still can't get used to being part of a fabulous DT.

Our challenge this week is to use "autunal colours", my favourite season along with spring.

We are sponsored by Crafts U Love who are offering a £10 voucher for the winner.  Please pop along and join us.

Here is my card

I've used one of my new favourites a Stamping Bella Uptown Girl.  She is coloured with copics, the brown papers are First Edition and the green one from a Basic Grey set.   I really need to go and buy some more pretty flowers, as I seem to be struggling to find the colours I need in my stash at the moment.  I know our lovely Blog owner Natalie has a passion for flowers, may I could raid her stash :)
